Since its inception, the Early Bird Rotary Club has donated almost a quarter of a million dollars to a wide variety of charitable organizations both locally and around the world. A few examples of local organizations that have benefited are the 1907 Club, Above and Beyond Children's Museum, Maywood Environmental Park, Spaceport Sheboygan Education Center, and the Lakeland College Malawi Teacher Education Program. In addition, Early Bird Rotary has provided local students with almost $30,000 in scholarships to enable their continuing education. These scholarships are consistent with one of the primary goals of Rotary International - education.
The money raised by Early Bird Rotary reaches well beyond our local communities! Our club has contributed considerable resources to Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation. Through Rotary International we have helped to eradicate polio worldwide and assisted in providing other humanitarian services, encouraged high ethical standards in all vocations and helped to build goodwill and peace. The Rotary Foundation enables Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
Again, all Early Bird Rotarians say "Thank you" for your financial contributions and your support.
