Peace Through Understanding

The Sheboygan Early Bird Rotary Club sponsored four students to go to the 2018 World Affairs Seminar held at Carroll University, June 23-29. Three of the students will come and talk about their time at the seminar and what they took away from their experience.

The World Affairs Seminar is an international youth initiative of Rotary International District 6270.  Our vision is to bring better understanding of world problems to young people from around the globe, using current issues as a learning platform. In the course of this study, the WAS provides opportunities for participants to discuss issues with other young people from around the world. Emphasis is on promoting better understanding of the causes of international conflict.  The idea is if the causes are understood and solutions developed in a cooperative environment, problems are more likely to be solved peacefully.

Float Doctor

Elizabeth Heitzman, Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, CFP will talk about her business, Float Doctor.

Floating (also referred to as desensitization therapy or hydrotherapy) involves the absorption of Epsom salt minerals through the skin for a hour or more of weightless, calm, and rejuvenating relaxation. This high concentration of salt softens and draws toxins from the skin and charges the body with magnesium while reducing inflammation of joints and tissues.
