About our Community: "The Refugee Support Community is a group of volunteers in Sheboygan extending welcome, friendship, assistance and material support to our new international neighbors."

About me: "Heidi Boehmer trained as a teacher and and an actor/director. She's been assisting marginalized people for 20 years: refugees and homeless families in Chicago, impoverished families in Appalachia, street children in Maputo, Mozambique, and families facing homelessness in rural Wisconsin. She currently 'world-schools' her 3 children along with her husband, Dr. Eric Boehmer.
